Snake boat race
If you are visiting Kerala during July to September months, you shouldn't miss the snake boat races that are held in and around Alappuzha. The snake boats vary from about 100 to about 138 feet long and will have about 100 to 150 oarsmen. It resembles a snake with its hood raised.
